Unmade Beds

The sweet, honest film about searching, chance encounters and courage is Alexis Dos Santos’ contribution to this year’s LIFFe. The lead actor, appealing Fernando Tielve, chatted to the viewers about the shooting, his dance talent and how he grappled with his role. He was able to totally identify with Axl as if he were his twin brother. Although based on a script, at least half of the film was improvised, which according to Tielve allows the actors to focus more on the action and the co-stars. Therefore he decided that in his next films he would pretend he was improvising which will unable him to perform better. Unmade Beds is the young Spanish actor’s tenth film (he debuted at the age of 15 in The Devil’s Backbone).
